Terms of Service
Introduction
Welcome to WellNurtureMD. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the WellNurtureMD website and the services provided by the clinic. By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from WellNurtureMD, you agree to these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website or the clinic’s services.
Website Information & Medical Disclaimer
The information provided on this website is intended for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Medical advice is provided only following an assessment by an appropriate healthcare practitioner.
While every effort is made to keep website information accurate and current, content may change over time and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical care.
WellNurtureMD does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or proceed to your nearest Emergency Department.
Eligibility For Services
WellNurtureMD provides healthcare services to eligible clients located within:
- New Brunswick
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Ontario
Services are provided in accordance with applicable provincial licensing requirements and professional standards.
Receiving Care
WellNurtureMD provides care through both virtual and in-clinic appointments, depending on the clinical needs of each client.
Whenever appropriate, care may be provided remotely. However, some assessments, examinations, laboratory testing, imaging, procedures, or monitoring may require attendance at the WellNurtureMD clinic or a healthcare facility that is local to the client. These recommendations are at the discretion of the prescribing physician to ensure safe, monitored, medical care.
Where appropriate, WellNurtureMD may collaborate with your family physician, healthcare practitioner, pharmacy, laboratory, or other healthcare providers to support continuity and coordination of your care.
Client Responsibilities
To support safe and appropriate healthcare, clients are responsible for:
- Providing complete, accurate, and current personal and medical information.
- Informing the clinic of any significant changes to their health, medications, or contact information.
- Attending scheduled appointments or providing appropriate notice when cancelling.
- Completing recommended laboratory testing, investigations, or follow-up appointments where clinically required.
- Following agreed treatment plans and discussing any concerns with the treating healthcare practitioner.
Providing incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the clinic’s ability to safely provide care.
Clinical Decision-Making
All clinical recommendations are made by the treating physician based on your individual health history, clinical assessment, current medical evidence, and professional judgment.
Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a particular diagnosis, prescription, laboratory test, referral, or treatment will be recommended or provided.
Medicine cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Individual responses to treatment vary, and no healthcare service or treatment can guarantee improvement, symptom resolution, or a particular result.
Prescriptions & Laboratory Services
Where appropriate, prescriptions may be issued following clinical assessment.
Prescription renewals may require follow-up appointments or additional monitoring before they can be authorized.
Healthcare practitioners may recommend laboratory testing, diagnostic investigations, or ongoing monitoring to support safe and effective care. Failure to complete recommended monitoring may affect ongoing treatment or prescribing decisions.
Where prescriptions, laboratory services, diagnostic testing, or referrals involve third-party providers, those organizations operate independently and are responsible for their own services, availability, fees, privacy practices, and professional obligations.
Fees, Payments, and Refunds
Fees for services are published by WellNurtureMD and are subject to change. Payment is required in accordance with the clinic’s payment policies.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time are eligible for a full refund. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time, or missed without notice, are eligible for a 50% refund.
Health Assessment & Review: If the Health Assessment & Review service is cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, a $46 administration fee (HST included) will be retained, with the remaining amount refunded. If cancelled within 48 hours, or missed without notice, 50% of the original payment will be refunded. If WellNurtureMD determines that a client is ineligible for the service, the client will receive a full refund.
The cancellation fees reflect the clinic’s costs associated with preparing for appointments, including administrative work, scheduling clinical resources, and, where applicable, the review and management of information submitted by the client prior to the appointment.
Rescheduled appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payments from cancelled or missed appointments cannot be applied as a credit toward future appointments or services. Where WellNurtureMD cancels an appointment, clients will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available only where permitted under the clinic’s Cancellation Policy. Once an appointment has been completed or a clinical service has been provided, fees are non-refundable. This includes appointments involving the review of health history, medical records, laboratory results, questionnaires, consent forms, or other information submitted by the client.
Fees are charged for the professional assessment, review, interpretation, and clinical judgment provided by the treating healthcare practitioner. Refunds are not available because treatment, testing, referrals, or prescriptions were not recommended or provided.
Refunds are not provided based on a client’s response to treatment or the outcome or effectiveness of care, as healthcare outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Electronic Communications
WellNurtureMD may communicate with clients by telephone, email, secure electronic messaging, appointment reminders, or other approved communication methods.
Electronic communications are monitored during normal clinic operations; however, response times cannot be guaranteed and should not be relied upon for urgent medical concerns.
For time-sensitive administrative matters, clients are encouraged to contact the clinic by telephone.
Electronic communications should never be used to report a medical emergency. If you require urgent medical attention, visit your nearest outpatient clinic or Emergency Department, or call 911.
Privacy
WellNurtureMD is committed to protecting your personal and health information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
The collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information is governed by the clinic’s Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Website Use & Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, graphics, branding, logos, images, educational materials, and other content, is the property of WellNurtureMD or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Ending The Care Relationship
WellNurtureMD is committed to providing respectful, professional, and safe healthcare.
Although uncommon, there may be circumstances where the clinic determines it is no longer appropriate to continue providing care. This may occur where there are concerns relating to abusive or threatening behaviour, inappropriate conduct, conflicts of interest, failure to complete clinically necessary monitoring, or other circumstances that prevent the clinic from safely or professionally providing care.
Where appropriate, the clinic will make reasonable efforts to support continuity of care in accordance with applicable professional standards.
Changes to Terms of Service
WellNurtureMD may update its services, fees, policies, or these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in clinical practice, operational requirements, or applicable laws.
The most current version will always be published on the WellNurtureMD website. Continued use of the website or clinic services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the WellNurtureMD Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement governing the use of the WellNurtureMD website and services.
