Our Fees

WellNurtureMD charges for the individual services you receive, rather than a fixed treatment package. Your costs will depend on your care needs and may include assessments, consultations, testing and follow-up appointments. Current fees are listed on the Our Fees page.

Registration and consent are free, including completion of your Health Assessment questionnaire. The Health Assessment & Review is your first paid service and includes a detailed review of your health history with a practitioner. Any additional costs depend on the care, testing or treatment recommended for you.

No, with the exception of Dietary services, which are eligible for direct billing. For all other services, you pay WellNurtureMD directly and submit your receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement where applicable.

Medicare coverage varies by service and province. At WellNurtureMD, eligible Pap Testing is provided at no cost through publicly funded healthcare. For the most current information about coverage, please refer to your provincial government’s health plan website.

Coverage varies by insurance provider and plan. Some WellNurtureMD services may be eligible for reimbursement through private insurance, including services provided through Naturopathy or Dietary Consultations. Check your individual benefits for the most current information about your coverage.

Yes. Official receipts are provided after your appointment or service has been completed and can be submitted for insurance reimbursement where applicable. If you need proof of payment before your service is completed, a payment confirmation can be provided.

No. Appointment fees cover the consultation and care provided by WellNurtureMD. Any medications prescribed are purchased separately through your pharmacy of choice and are subject to the pharmacy’s pricing and your insurance coverage.

Prescription coverage varies by insurance plan and medication. Check with your insurance provider to confirm whether your prescribed medication is covered and whether any additional authorization is required.

Yes. All lab testing is private pay and additional fees apply. Your physician will determine which tests are needed and when testing or retesting should occur. Initial lab testing uses a more comprehensive profile, while follow-up testing uses a more focused profile to monitor your progress and response to treatment.

You will know the cost of each service before it is provided. However, treatment is an ongoing process and the total cost will depend on your individual needs. Additional costs may include follow-up consultations, testing and medications as your care progresses.

No. Follow-up appointments are separate services and are charged individually based on the type of consultation required.

The frequency of follow-up appointments depends on your treatment and individual needs. Regular follow-ups allow your healthcare team to monitor your progress and safely adjust treatment or medications when needed.

Forms are provided at no additional cost. If care requires physician review for additional clinical input or prescription approval, an additional fee applies (see Our Fees). Prescription renewals may also require a follow-up appointment or additional monitoring before they can be approved.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify the clinic as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your appointment are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours or missed appointments are eligible for a 50% refund. For the Health Assessment & Review service, cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are subject to a $46 administration fee. Some WellNurtureMD services may qualify as medical expenses for income tax purposes. Eligibility depends on the service, practitioner and province. Refer to current CRA guidelines when filing your return.

Refunds are available according to WellNurtureMD’s Cancellation Policy. Once an appointment or service has been completed, fees are non-refundable. Refunds are not provided based on the outcome of your care. For complete details, please see our Terms of Service.

If you’ve completed your Health Assessment and booked your practitioner review, you should still attend the scheduled appointment. Once the practitioner review is completed, WellNurtureMD can provide an official receipt that you can submit to your private insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
